The trees are thinning out as the last leaves fall and the days are turning darker quicker. Soon, the changing weather will bring cold, grey days to SW Pennsylvania. So how about some incredible color to brighten up your day?
We want to give a HUGE thank you to PPG for coloring the walls of our Project Silk LGBTQIA+ youth drop-in space at Wood Street in downtown Pittsburgh. We are so grateful to have been included in their Colorful Communities project with United Way. The crew painted the walls, created an incredible mural, and made the space feel vibrantly fun. There is color everywhere you look, and you can't help but feel happy in the new space. A wall calendar was installed to help members and clients keep track of program events and activities, and the designs are sure to inspire our Project Silk artists as they create work for intermittent shows and next year's big Art Gallery Show. Thank you to United Way SWPA for connecting Project Silk staff and members to this incredible project. We are so lucky to have such amazing partners in the Pittsburgh community!
